Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru fluently speaks German Russian English. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. In 2011, she devised a choreography that earned her the chance to be a guest on German TV as the Russian snowmaiden, who then became an Indian dancer. She finished high school at the age of 11 in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She took classes in acting in the HB Studios. She later moved on to pursue improvised comedy at the Groundlings School. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as a Russian-speaking mother Olga. Her family relocated into East Meadow New York, with her father when she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. In FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is one of her best television appearance. Her most well-known role is her recurring roles in Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
